As a fan on literature, I’m always mesmerized on how authors make me visualize the the characters and the sceneries they’re in. There are lots of things to be put into account in narrating such literary work, I know.
Recently, I have read Bj Paterno’s poem entitled, “Apo On the Wall” which poked my imaginative mind. There, the persona’s father has suddenly popped! That manly posture, rifle on his grip, and wears uniform that has a color of green! His dark-fierce eyes screams bravery! Represented on the other hand were his hard work and experience through those beautiful calluses.
Despite of his little scary characteristics, a soft lovely father lives. Strictly he does things, but that’s for the best for those he has chosen to protect. Also, I can see how pure his movements and intentions are. The way he acts, it is full of discipline and honor. A great hero of the country and family. Such courageous soldier, indeed.
